Kirstie FINALLY lost her tooth!!!

Kirstie's tooth has been driving our family CRAZY this past few weeks. She hates pulling her teeth out and waits until they are just hanging by her gums and won't let anyone touch it. This morning she was just sitting at the table waiting for me to finish fixing breakfast when she yelled "mommy, my tooth fell out!" One less tooth to be grossed out by-Hurray!!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was a busy day. We stayed at my parents house, and because mom and dad and grandma "Pete" were out of town, we had the house all to ourselves. I think that after this Easter, from now on we will do much less of the "commercial" part of Easter, and focus much much more on our Savior.
We went to church with the Kartchner's to see Brennan's farewell. Afterward's we went to the Kartchner's house and had some YUMMY shredded beef burritos! (Thank's Scott!). We then headed for home. The drive home was much better for me than the drive to Snowflake. We drove through Salt River Canyon in the dark on the way there, and all through the canyon, I was "white-knuckled"! On the way home it was still light out so it was a little less scary. We had a great time visiting with everyone and hated to leave, but we're glad to be home!

Easter Egg Hunt!

We went to Scott and Beth's house for a barbecue and Easter egg hunt on Saturday afternoon. I am so glad that Easter will never again in my lifetime, be in March! It was so weird having an Easter egg hunt when it was cold outside and the trees were still bare.

Week in Snowflake

we went to the Shumway's during spring break to see the new baby lambs. They were so adorable! The one's in the pic's were just barely born because the mother....well, it was REALLY GROSS! It was difficult to get a picture with the lambs, because Maura would pick up the babies every time I tried to take a picture. Laura and I finally had to tell her to just leave them on the ground. She just loves to be in the spotlight=)After we were done playing with the new lambs, Stevie Randall and Logan went in another field to fly a little plane. When they were leaving the field, Logan accidently scared one of the older baby lambs, because it jumped really high! It was so cool! I wish we had been able to get a picture. We had lots of fun playing, eating and visiting with the Shuways.

My Little Leprechauns!

We started the day off with "green eggs and ham" (scrambled of course) and green pancakes. I only had "neon" green food coloring so they don't look very green in the pic's. I tried to make the pancakes into four leaf clover's, but as you can see it didn't turn out so well. I thought the kids would think it was pretty cool. Well, Stevie and Kirstie did, but Jennah was a different story. I'll just say that she ended up making her own breakfast. We've had to stay inside today, because it's so dang cold outside. I put this picture of Kirstie on because she just loves to make us laugh with her silly faces. If you look really close, you can see that one of her front teeth is about to fall out. Our 16th Anniversary

Well, Steve and I celebrated our 16th anniversary last night over in Sierra Vista. We're so exciting, we started the night by going to Applebee's, then we went to Target to do a little shopping. Even though we didn't do much, it was nice to get away - just the two of us. I can't believe it's been 16 years!!!! (I'm starting to feel old!)

Just a quick note...Steve and I have had this running arguement for the last sixteen years as to who proposed, so we'll take it to our friends and family to help settle it. When we were dating, one night Steve said "I think I'm falling in love with you" to which I responded "well what are you going to do about it?" Then Steve said "I guess we ought to get married." Steve seems to think that I was the one who proposed. I NEVER said anything about marrying him that night. He didn't officially propose until Christmas night several weeks later. So....who do you think proposed, me or Steve?

Jennah's field trip

Jennah's class went to Colossal Cave on the 6th, and she had a great time. She learned alot, and had alot of stories to tell. (I especially like the one about make-up being made from bat poop!) There are so many fun things to do and see here in this area, if any of you want to come visit, hint-hint!
