I am a HUGE fan of the little girl hair blogs (I have the links to two of them on my blog)! Growing up, I always wanted a little sister to play with and fix her hair, but it was never meant to be *sigh*. I'm so lucky to have my own two girls with great hair to experiment on! My girls aren't too thrilled to be my guinea pigs, but they do cooperate. I am "hair-style challenged", so when I found the links to the hair blogs, I was ecstatic! There are still some hair-do's that I stay away from...mainly ones with french braids...they never turn out well for me.
My girls and I have been having fun with the Valentine's Day 'do's'. The angle of the top & bottom right pictures aren't quite right...it did look like a heart, just not here.

This one took FOREVER...but it was one of my favorites when it was done. I did this on our 2nd Sunday here in Snowflake. Kirstie's comment was "mommy, this was a long hair-do, can we not do it again?"
The top pictures here are from their first day of school. They took a while, but I loved how they turned out...and so did my girls:) The bottom left pictures is one of my favorites with Jennah's hair, and was sooooo easy...no special skills involved here!
This is the 1st day of school hairstyles from the front, minus the braid in Jennah's hair (I'm a slow braider).

My wife is so with you on the hair blogs. Now that we have 1:00 church, every Sunday morning consists of picking a new style off of one of the blogs. There have been some pretty cool ones.
You have waaaayyyy more patience than I do:) I get to ansy trying to do hair and my girls just want a quick ponytail and be done. Plus we love to sleep till the last possible second so no time for fancy. I always love to see the hair styles and wish that I was better at it. Oh well. The girls hair looks great!

I'm impressed Melaine! I have looked at a few of those blogs and love them but mine never turn out that cute! My girls aren't that patient and neither am it!
Those hair do's are amazing, Melanie! I like to play around with fancy do's too, but when I'm done, Sarah looks like she belongs in the circus. I think I need to check out the sites at which you've been looking. Nice work!
