Tag...I'm it!

Emily tagged me a while back (sorry it took so long), to list 6 quirks. I'm usually a pretty guarded person when it comes to "personal" stuff. Maybe that's why it took me so long to decide what I was actually WILLING to put on here :D. So here goes...

1. Every time I see a green hill (or a green field for that matter-not many hills in AZ) I imagine myself running around on it singing..."The Hills are Alive!"

2. I have weird insomnia, I fall asleep almost the moment my head hits the pillow (usually around 8:30). Then I wake up around 1 am and have an almost impossible time getting back to sleep. (Maybe I should start making better use of that time :D).

3. I love the smell of bleach...Clorox Clean-up to be exact. I'm not saying it's my favorite smell, but it's pretty high up on the list. Nothing says clean like the smell of bleach! I think it started with my "nursing home" days...I'm such a germ-a-phobe!

4. When my kids clean their rooms (which almost never happens), I do, what we affectionately call, the "mommy dance". Never NEVER ask to see it...it's for their eyes ONLY! (I do all I can to hear them laugh=D)

5. I have OCD with the most unnecessary things like...I have to take the eggs out of the carton symmetrically. I'll even add an extra one to what I'm cooking sometimes so the carton is "balanced". Another is the dishes it the cupboard...they have to be put away in just the right order, or it TOTALLY bugs me! (It's just to bad I don't have OCD about the kids toys, clutter, or other things that really matter)

6. I usually don't talk much, especially in public, except when I'm extremely exhausted. Then it's next to impossible to get me to shut up. Steve started calling me "Rambling Rose" when we were first married, now he'll just hint by saying "okay Rosie!" to let me know that it's time to be quiet. So steer clear when it's past bedtime...I just might talk your ear off :D
