Kirstie before she pulled her tooth out. It totally grosses me out to see her teeth just hanging there, but she seems to like it...ewww!
Hooray!!! She FINALLY pulled it out last night, instead of waiting for it to fall out like she has in the past. I didn't get any pictures of Kirstie's first two lost teeth, because she waited so long that her permanent teeth were already in, so you couldn't even tell that she had lost them. If you look close enough, you can already see her permanent tooth peeking through.
Stevie loves trying to be like daddy! The other day he figured out how to make a "trailor" by tying a rope to his bike and hooking it to the car. I thought it was pretty ingenious! He very seldom rides his bike without pulling something behind it now.
Steve decided that for family home evening this week we (meaning he) were going to build a sandbox. He got tired of the kids always digging holes in the back yard and killing what little grass is there. We went out to the wash to get the sand. Stevie, as you can see, wasn't much help, but he did have fun playing in the dirt with his daddy's big shovel. Jennah was trying really hard to be a big help, even when we told her she didn't have to shovel, she kept right on digging. Kirstie I think dumped more off the side of the truck than what actually made it into the truck.
Steve built the box out of some boards that were left behind at our Camp Verde home. Not a bad sandbox for the cost, which was NOTHING! Jennah and Kirstie were using the frame as a balance beam while Steve was figuring the easiest way to get the sand from the truck to the sandbox.
Stevie decided to go pet the neighbor's horse while we were filling up the sandbox. That horse just loves the kids, anytime they are outside playing, he comes over to check things out, and maybe get some food :)
The finished product! Not a bad family home evening...Thanks Steve!!

Sounds like fun for all! I bet the kids are happy to have another sand box. My kids would love one, but when do we find time to do it with everything else we are always doing?! I guess I'll have to plan it out or it will never get done! Funny about Kirstie's tooth. Adam is the same way. He keeps it in his mouth and it just dangles there. Kids are funny!
HEY!! I SAW YOUR BLOG ON TYLER'S AND JUST HAD TO DROP IN...I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW BIG THE KIDS ARE!
