We went to Snowflake on Friday to go to Rayla's graduation. The first two pictures are to show you what we have to drive through every time we go to Snowflake. Salt River Canyon is so beautiful, but it gives me major anxiety every time we drive through. It's not very comforting when you can see several cars down the cliffs. I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures, they were taken from inside the van.
Here's the bridge at the bottom.
We spent Saturday and Sunday at mom and dad's. Saturday we went on a double date with them to see the new "Indiana Jones" movie... it was great! We had a cook-out that night with the Lunt's and the missionaries. Sunday we just went to Church and then had a nice Sunday dinner with all the family.

I hope that you weren't surprised that Kirstie got in the water. That's how it is with my kids. The only time they would probably obey is when I would try reverse psychology. Then it would totally backfire. I am slow or something because i thought that the first pictures were of a bunch of rivers not roads. I don't think that there would be that much water all in one place in Arizona. I should use my brain more!
No, I wasn't at all surprised...why do you think I had the camera ready? There is a river running through the middle of the canyon, at the very bottom. Someday we'll have time to stop and take some decent pictures.
What a fun weekend - so the new Indiana Jones movie was good, eh? I was surprised at how much Harrison Ford looks the same!
